FAME: A New Advanced Facility & Energy Management Player

FAME: A New Advanced Facility & Energy Management Player

Dammam, January 26, 2024 – Despite being incorporated only very recently, FAME – a new Saudi company specializing in Advanced Facility Management – already enjoys elevated professionalism, expertise, and technology levels. Indeed, it is a Joint Venture between two partners combining the best of Saudi and Italian professionalism. The two partners are AL JABR INVESTMENT COMPANY – a company operating in various sectors, including Finance, Automotive, Real Estate, and General Contracting – and FERVO, an Italian group specializing in Facility & Energy Management services with innovative technologies and processes.

Its name FAME is extremely meaningful, as it is suggestive of glory, as well as being the acronym for Fervo Al-Jabr Middle East LLC. The name thus encapsulates the ambitious goal of swiftly becoming the point of reference for Real Estate clients requiring support for the effective and sustainable
management of more and more smart & digitized assets. Offering integrated Advanced Facility and Energy Management services with a focus on sustainable development is now the key element for increasing the value of modern infrastructure throughout its life cycle. This applies not only from a purely maintenance and upgrading standpoint, but especially from a utilities one: optimizing energy consumption is key to achieving optimal efficiency, as is using systems generating clean energy, with an immediate positive effect on reducing the carbon footprint associated with infrastructure.

FAME is set up precisely to respond to the new needs arising from the “Vision 2030” plan, which is strongly advocated by the Saudi Government. Though this program is brimming with business and investments in all areas, the leading role is played by the construction of new mega-smart-cities, which will require new fast and effective data-driven asset management and maintenance solutions.

Only a few months after its incorporation in August 2023, FAME – which has its headquarters in Dammam and offices in Riyadh – has already been awarded some valuable contracts: first and foremost, operations & maintenance services on lines 4-5-6 of the new Riyadh Metro, a state of-theart piece of infrastructure that will revolutionize public transportation in the capital. These maintenance services cover vital parts of the work – from the electrical system to the VRF system, the
heat pump and CRAC units – on which FAME will work for five years. However, these are but the first steps along a path to success that FAME wishes to embark on along
with its customers, thus contributing significantly to Saudi Arabia’s sustainable development.
